Oslofjord Convention Center is located at the Norwegian Suncoast in the heart of Vestfold area. Oseberg ship inTønsberg and Gokstad ship in Sandefjord are the two biggest Viking discoveries in Norway and are only 15 km (10 miles) away from Oslofjord. A replica of the Viking ship Saga Oseberg can be experienced in Tønsberg which is Norway’s oldest city an if you’re lucky, you can get yourself a rowing trip in it.
Midgard Viking Center at Borre burst with knowledge about Vikings fascinating culture and ways of living which they are gladly sharing with the visitors. They have constructed a Viking Village in a way that the guests can experience life as Vikings. There you can also get a feeling of the true Viking atmosphere in the huge so called “Gildehallen” which was the most important meeting point. Viking Village is used as a movie set for the Netflix series “Vikings”. Series received positive critics both in Norway and internationally.
The Oslofjord Convention Center is beautifully situated by the coast in the municipality of Sandefjord, only 1.5 hours drive from Oslo. With over 12,000 beds in apartments and cottages, and a plenary hall that seats more than 7,000 attendees, the Oslofjord Convention Center is on track to become one of Europe's largest combined accommodations and events venues.
You can easily get here by train, bus, car or plane. With Sandefjord Airport Torp only 20 minutes away and two hours drive from Oslo Airport Gardermoen, the conference center is easily accessible both from home and abroad. Between Oslo Airport Gardermoen and Tønsberg or Stokke there is a direct train connection via Oslo Central Station.
Oslofjord has around 1750 parking spaces in its own area. If the demand is higher, they use remote parking as well.
